Nassau, New Providence Island hotel rooms at the Fairmont

"Expensive dining with 15% service charge (customary to add another 5%) and 10% VET, so should plan on another 30%. Food was excellent, though. Service was, as well."

"Great brealkfast menu. By the beach in walking distance and close to the airport. Extra fees for parking and daily housekeeping along with a required deposit. Check with hotel before booking. My room was nice and clean, lacking some amenities, probably had to ask front desk for them. Location though is great."

"Good base location. Pretty hotel lobby. Best part was the private beach. Nice little beach, with water pedal bikes you can borrow. Saw sea turtles and cool fish while on the bikes. the only complaint is that more chairs/umbrellas should be made available, even if for sale, we could never find any. Our room phone did not work and was never fixed and there was a weird fishy smell on our side of the hotel (it was not us lol), had to keep the windows open to air it out."

"Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. There was also multiple nights of yelling and boisterous activity by guests on our floor that woke us up three of the four nights we were there. We called and complained and nothing was done. The food at breakfast was also really disappointing and expensive."

"Outdoor amenities are excellent. Staff is great. The rooms need upgrading. Bathroom is awkward. There was a problem with the ac and room floor was mostly wet during our stay. There should be late night snacks available after dinner closes or vending machines. There were no fridge in the room, needed to pay extra. There were also no coffee/tea station in the room. "
