"Excellent location. Lovely balcony and outdoor seating area overlooking the beach. The rooms are fine. They make you pay extra for a crib/pack and play. The hotel is locally owned so I understand being on a budget but it can seem like the staff/hotel are pinching Pennie’s when you ask for any extras. The hospitality is not as welcoming or friendly as what you would find at a higher end hotel."

"The staff were very friendly! The location of the hotel in proximity to the water was beautiful. The bathroom in the room was updated fairly recently. The only thing I would change is to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with tile or hardwood/laminate."

"Perfect in every way. The view is spectacular. Amazing sunsets. Well equipped kitchen if you are eating in. Plenty of parking. The housekeepers keep the place super clean. Wonderful place to just enjoy the ocean breeze."

"Great location with a beautiful view. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable. For the amount we paid, I think the hotel could have been more thoughtful about some of the details. There was a weirdly frustrating thing going on with the sink where you can’t fit your head below the shelf to wash your face without getting water everywhere. It was hard to enjoy the porch because the cloth separating the areas was fully ripped and blowing everywhere. There were mildew or mold stains in the shower."

"Montauk Yacht Club was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Our room was spotless and had a great view of the water. We did mention to them ahead of time that it was our anniversary, thinking they might have some champagne or something waiting in the room for us, but they did not. Nonetheless, it was still a perfect stay. We played tennis and the courts were beautiful. The on-site restaurant was very yummy as well! I definitely recommend coming during the off season, as it is way less crowded in town and very relaxing."
