โKaterina and the rest of the staff were amazing, kind and very helpful people. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 10 days at Viaggio. I highly recommend, perfect location close to the old town and in a quiet alley way for peaceful evenings. โ
โWe had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....
โFrom the breakfast, to the room, to the kind staff, everything about this stay was perfect. Very walkable to everywhere in chania and room was very large for a central location. Would come back here for a future stay for sureโ
โGiorgos was a great host and made our stay amazing! He was very responsive and checked in with us via message throughout our stay! The location of the property is in the heart of it all, making walking everywhere so easy! Giorgos provided us with many recommendations for food, villages and beaches and they did not disappoint! The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised! I would definitely stay here again :) โ
โJudy, the host, was so wonderful and hospitable. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It is in a prime location. Very walkable. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, and shops within walking distance. โ
โVery clean and well set up room, with a comfortable bed. Basic room not fancy, as I expected. The check-in staff was super helpful. Convenient location. Great stay for a great price. My only comment is that there are stairs to get from the street to the lobby, which I was not aware of. Having recently had shoulder surgery, it is a problem carrying luggage up (or down) stairs. โ
โThis property is beautiful! The view from our room was incredible, the sun set was right in front of us on the water every evening. The included breakfast was also delicious; I enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk downstairs to eat every morning and the hours were great. Great location to walk places nearby. Love, love, love! I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Chania. โ
โWhat an amazing find. Due to my disability, we needed somewhere to stay, that would suit my mobility issues. This place was perfect. We had the ground floor room and it was beautiful, so no stairs to climb and it did not look like an accessible room. We were greeted by a beautiful young lady by the name of Anna. โThis hostel was perfectly maintained and cleaned almost whole day non-stop. Super comfortable, just one thing in the bathroom it stinks a bit rotten water or fungus, except that no complain. However, towel charges 3โฌ then deposit is 10โฌ. I eventually received back but it was a bit easily forgotten so, it would be kind if the reception reminds to guest. Because reception starts 8am but I checked out at 6am so no way to receive back the deposit.โ
โTheta is a fine place to stay, very near the Atki Miaouli (nice places for breakfast) and an easy walk to all the sights, without being surrounded by tour groups. Very comfortable room, with a fine bathroom. โ
