This was a nice hotel for a reasonable price. The shower/tub could use an update. The food items for breakfast were really stale. All in all, I would stay again.

The property met our needs well in providing a place to stay for a family wedding. What was absolutely exceptional was the customer service when we forgot an iPad in our room. I received a call from the hotel that an iPad was found by housekeeping before we noticed it was missing. As we were already on the road traveling home, I asked if the item could be shipped. The staff arranged for this and immediately sent the iPad (and a small stuffed toy that my daughter left behind) home for us. I am so grateful for the trustworthiness of staff and how well we were accommodated.

The staff was very wonderful and helpful. We had a family emergency and they were able to extend our stay easily. The room was clean, breakfast was ok, but coffee was great!! It is in a very good place for restaurants, the hospital, supermarkets. Side note, the staff who drives the black Kia should not park in the first available spot next to the handicap spots...But overall it was a good stay!

Always charge for services you’re providing!!! I booked for king bed delux room for 6 nights and the hotel provided me a normal queen bed room. I made the reservation one week prior to my arrival. Your staff Ms.Sharon took an hour to find my booking. She shocked me by saying she can’t find any reservation under my name at night 11’o clock. I’m travelling a lot and never faced such a bad experience from any hotel. She said she can’t provide the room I reserved and only queen bed room is available ( Don’t understand why this hotel accepted my booking for king bed room) and she promised me I’ll get the deluxe room from next day. Even though it was your staff’s responsibility to call me and provide the correct room. But nothing happened next day evening and I went to reception for enquiry. The response from duty manager was very rude. she told she can try for a king bed room for tomorrow but not sure( like waiting list). I said let me told to Expedia and never refused the offer. I didn’t hear anything from them and I was cheated by Clarion hotel New Bern. They Charged me almost 100$ extra by provided me a normal room for 6 nights. Please take this 100$ as my tip( please give the major share to the manager as she deserves more)and continue the same cheating to poor customers. I don’t understand how people promoted as manager without knowing the hospitality in hotel industry. Good job team Clarion hotel, New Bern👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Easy check in. TV didn’t work but was resolved within 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Breakfast is just muffins, cereal and waffles. Having healthy options would be the only upgrade I would recommend, At this price point.

The hotel room smelled of smoke, and the hallway smelled of weed. The room was an average level of clean- there was mold in the shower and bathroom. But that would not have been as noticeable if the room was not as smelly. When you check in, there is a $150 penalty you have to sign and place a card down for, for smoking in the rooms. I told the front desk not to charge us for the existing smell, so I hope to not see any further charges. Would not recommend staying there again.

The property was very clean. I always book this hotel. I only had one problem. Around 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning someone tried to enter my room. Thank God I has the top lash on.
