Small but efficient room with K-cup coffee maker and large fridge by hotel standards. Very comfortable bed. Only drawback was the room was upstairs (only ones available when we made the reservation) and it was a challenge for my wife to climb the stairs.

What a perfect place to stay in New Braunfels! The cottages are very nice and quiet and all sizes are available. You park at your front door which is so convenient. You are only about a half mile from Gruene Hall and all of the attractions. We walked there one night and felt very safe.

Already Planning Our Next Trip

I always taking my own cleaning supplies and clean rooms before my family stays anywhere. The sunflower cottage was very clean and I only found one hair - I was so impressed. It was spacious enough for what we needed and was so quaint and tucked back in a safe and quiet area. We will definitely be staying again. The only surprise was being able to hear every word from the guests below us. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The pool and playground were wonderful. The working was fabulous. Just a pleasant and fun place to stay right off the main strip through town.

We absolutely loved Gruene Cottages. Closer to town than expected - an easy walk and safe to do so of a night time. A lovely pool area with some shade which was a huge bonus in the Texas summer! Would gladly recommend and look forward to returning.

Very quiet and the room was clean. They provided coffee and we also had a refrigerator in the room. Parking was so easy. Very walkable to Gruene, about 10 minutes. The only issue we had was the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work. I let them know at check out and got an immediate response. This was our second stay at this property and we will return again.

Nice clean sharp property!

Wonderful property and very clean and new! Quiet and affordable for its proximity to Gruene Hall. Contactless checkin although phone call was answered and assistance was available promptly. Walking distance to all activities if desired. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfy

Loved the friendliness of the housekeeper, the location was great and the room clean and comfortable. My only suggestions would be a couple of robe/towel hooks in the bathroom and to state that there is no elevator for the upstairs rooms.

This property and the people who run it are absolutely amazing. We had a great 2 night stay in the Lavender Suite. Comminication with the manager was awesome, very polite and very promptly responsive. The pool is very nice and the room was well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Thank you!!

Outlets needed to be change out. Our phones weren’t able to charge due to the cubes just falling out of them. Other than that the place is nice and comfortable. Being close to downtown Gruene was a huge plus. We’d come back and stay here again.

Girls outing for a birthday. Did not want a hotel. This property is older but is so unique with the cutest cottages. The outdoor spaces are extremely well maintained. Fantastic pool!!! So clean and refreshing and partially shaded. This property is near a busy thoroughfare but it didn’t affect how relaxing it was. Could not see traffic or hear traffic while inside the room. Very private. Will definitely stay here again.

Stairs were required to access our room. "View" from our balcony was of the parking lot (Texas style, very bare and uninviting, but lots of birds in the trees around the swimming pool! Lots of grills, good parking. Very roomy space, nice bathroom, beautiful hottub! Couldn't open curtains due to proximity of neighboring residences. musty odor or cleaning solution? on entering property.
