Room was clean but very tired . In dire need of a paint /refurb . Bed was comfortable and hot shower . Looked like sort of place for contractors. Pub joined was nice but very quiet for a weekend and overpriced.

Only stayed the one night having stayed in Newcastle before it is in the good location however the hotel itself is quite dated now and probably need of a refurb the car park is very small for the size of the hotel. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Professional, friendly team make everything run like a dream. Perfect beds, excellent breakfasts, knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere. Only minor flaw was the Annex rooms just need a slight modernisation.

I liked this hotel very much. It was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly and very helpful if you needed anything. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and cooked to perfection. The bar meals were very good to and all reasonably priced. I would most definitely stay here again as it felt like one big happy and homely place to stay. Would recommend it to all friends and family.
