This place is absolutely fantastic! Everything in this hotel has been thoughtfully planned, and the attention to detail is impeccable. From the moment you walk in, you notice how clean and welcoming it feels. The beautiful scent throughout the hotel makes you feel comfortable and right at home. The location is also incredible. Behind the hotel, there is a charming little beach area where the river flows, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The garden is absolutely beautiful and adds so much to the overall experience. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again and again without hesitation. This hotel is a special place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Our room "Chris" was very clean and spacious. The fireplace is a nice touch. The soaking tub was great after a long day on the slopes. The beds were very comfortable. Our hostess Claire was super friendly and accomodating. We had a great stay. We will be back again.

I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.

Beautiful setting, lovely hotel that deserves a 5-star rating. Room was comfortable and cozy. 3-stars for the breakfast which was very disappointing given the price of the stay. Keurig machine rather than brewed coffee, packaged pastry items, whole fruit without an adequate knife for cutting. They really should do better.
