“What a special place to have stayed! The Pax Guest House is located atop Mount Saint Augustine in one of the nicest locations on Trinidad. Fantastic views from this well-preserved guesthouse that dates to 1925. Fantastic hosts manage this property. They are very helpful and reliable. The guesthouse provides a very delicious breakfast in the morning. Guests should be mindful however that bathroom facilities for some rooms (not all) are shared with other guests. ”

“The property is in the heart of San Juan, but the gps location is not accurate. We were able to call the owner who gave us actual directions to the property. Once we got there, everything improved. The owner contacted you in advance to confirm your stay, so that was nice. I had previously booked the property, and they cancelled it, and raised the rate. “Home away from home is how I describe it. Beautiful traditional interior. Room was clean and not musty and quiet. Had a desk and chair which are not guaranteed for inns. Towels were scented. Snacks, coffee and tea available all day. And close to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.”
