Excellent hotel choice. Friendly attentive staff. Very good breakfast, lots of variety. Pool was warm. Clean bright rooms. 1 block from beach. Close to many restaurants. We definitely would recommend this hotel.
Ideally located in Nha Trang. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Walking access to a variety of shopping areas. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. Staff kind and courteous.
Thank yoy
The staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and polite
Room (1004) was a good size and the bathroom was ok
The only problem I had was at breakfast time, the first morning I arrived for breakfast they served a breakfast buffet the next two mornings the only food available for breakfast was from the restaurant menu which had nine items to choose from five of which were soup dishes, two egg dishes , Vietnam stewed beef and spaghetti bolognese, apparently the reason for this I was told was due to the fact that there was not enough guests staying at the hotel on them days to justify a breakfast buffet, out of the fifteen days I stayed at the hotel three of days they served food from the restaurant menu, saying that the food from the restaurant menu was good but it’s not the same as having a breakfast buffet
Would I stay there again probably yes knowing what could happen at breakfast time
My wife and I booked 2 rooms for two people each, since we don’t sleep in the same room at home because I snore. (All under my name)
Only one room was booked with breakfast for 2 but the receptionist said only one person could have breakfast, not both as I would be sleeping in the room without breakfast.
We forever had to explain that we booked for 2 rooms for 4 people but checked in as 2 only, and both of us will be using these 2 rooms. It took some times for her to understand that we didn't try to rip them off and the reason why we respectfully booked for 4 people in total.
While same sex marriage is not allowed in Vietnam. I don't think, it was necessary to limit breakfast for just 1 person when it was clearly stated on bookings that breakfast was booked for 2.
House keepers were noisy outside early in the morning despite I put do not disturb sign on but they were loud enough to disturb the sleep, unfortunately.
The hotel itself is ok
The only problem is at breakfast time
If there are enough guests staying on the day they will serve a breakfast buffet if not enough guests staying then the breakfast is from there lunch/diner menu so no cereal, fruit, patisserie ect ect
As of the 15 nights I stayed 9 mornings I had breakfast buffet and 6 mornings were from lunch/diner menu
One other strange thing was they offered spaghetti bolognaise on the lunch/diner menu only to find out when I did ordered it and when it did arrive it was actually spaghetti carbonara???
Stayed 15 nights in Jan 2026

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
I stayed at this hotel for 10 days for a festival and unfortunately, it fell short in a few key areas.
First, the housekeeping was subpar—despite obvious sand/dust on the floor, I had to specifically ask them to mop, as it wasn’t done during their routine cleaning.
Second, In all my previous four years of travel around Southeast Asia (travel approx every 3 months), I never had issues with visitors—hotels would just ask for their IDs if needed. But here, security simply said "no" with zero explanation, and even after I asked, no reason was given. Simply just denied access. If this visitor restriction is a policy, it really should be stated clearly on the website, so future guests can make an informed decision about booking a room here.
Thirdly, the gym was inadequate—no space for a proper workout, just a bike and another couple of cardio equipments and kettlebell Weights. Also, the room was small and very stuffy, making it hard to breathe.
Lastly, the food around the hotel was overpriced and not as flavorful—if you just walk 10 minutes along the next street behind the hotel (as in walking away from the beach), there are much better, cheaper and more options.
Sandals island hotel and spa
Wow , this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I have been travelling for 25 years long haul each hotel 8 weeks , stay in a lot of hotels .. and this one was horrendous .. its on a main cross roads with a karaoke sports bar on one of the other sides of the road.. I was staying in room 602 .. Sunday 8th feb all night singing music and tv probably football , the noise is was horrendous .. and the road noise constantly cars and coaches beeping there horns 24 hours a day … it was like sleeping on the side of a motorway .. what the point of a balcony if you can’t sit on it .. horrendous .none of the staff could speak English , only Korean Russian and Vietnamese . So berthing was done through google translate… which felt very impersonal … where are all the reviews about the noise , I had. To go out and buy sleeping pills and ear plugs …
The wardrobe is not connected to the wall and the safe is not connected to the wardrobe so what is safe about that?
The food breakfast was appalling cold , Luke warm coffee , water down juice . Cold food in a heated dish, and cold fried eggs on a plate on the side,
I read so many reviews on this place and it sounded amazing .. HOW WRONG WAS I , TERRIBLE HOTEL AND STAFF.
Also there is a church on the road that rings its bell at 4.15, 6.15 and 8 .15 very morning very sound..
The dressing gowns in the rooms are way too small for European men
Cleaning of room…. strange … some mornings I didn’t want to leave ear
