It feels like a flippin ski chalet. Great Indian restaurant right next door. Close to the Churchills steak house. Older looking building but kept very well. Our room #202 was a king bed and very spacious.
I enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chair on the dock watching the sun set. The room was comfortable. The staff member I dealt with was pleasant. I normally stay at more expensive options in North Bay and go there two times a year. I would consider this hotel again. The main selling point was the private small beach and the dock with chairs. I am used to five-star luxury hotels, so I don't want to give them low points based on my usual expectations. All in all, I was pleased with a two-night stay.
This place was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here a couple of years ago and were very impressed so decided to return. We booked the last suite but it was on the second floor. No elevator, just stairs. Weโre in our 80โs and the owner came out and carried every one of our bags, plus a heavy cooler, up the stairs without hesitation. We will stay there again.
Check in was smooth and the staff member (owner?) was very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean and had everything I needed. Visited during an extreme cold snap so did not look around the area too much but the inn is situated right next to the lake and I can imagine is beautiful in the warmer months. Great value for money. I would stay again.
