Dude is rude and place is dirty bed sinks in me and my wife couldn't have a good time we fought to stay on the dang bed all night freaking felt like a taco as the bed swallowed both of us and had us riding the edge of a sand hill that kept sinking, and then they only have a one towel that looked like it came from a run down k mart blue light speicial and no phones this room at least had a Bible but nope now there wasnt any TV channels he bothered not to tell me any info but he kept asking me where i came and where is my car and why me and my wife walked up plus a bunch of more weird personal question and he basically judged a book by its cover telling me we dont rent felons then caught his words plenty of disrespectful crap that man had for me thank God I used a online service to book my room he tried to charge me twice I told him I paid with the online serviced for booking then he looked at me then handed me the key and said room 6

Bathroom light didn't work. Bedside light didn't work--had only one prong. There was not a waste basket in the room---had to carry our garbage outside.

There were very few plug-ins in the room. - had to turn backwards on the bed to plug in a heating pad. Bathroom was very small with no counter. There was not an extra roll of toilet paper anywhere so had to use our own Kleenex. I can understand why they had to do it but the TV is clear to the side of the bed and not on a swivel so was hard to watch.
This is absolutely an only if you have to. I reserved the king bed, kitchen. When I arrived the young man barely said hello, and didn't believe I had a reservation. When I showed him the reservation he tried to give me a queen room, no kitchen. Then he tells me the room isn't ready, at 5:30pm. I needed to come back in an hour. I returned at 6:30. The space smelled like cheap room spray. All the walls, doors, cupboards, and switches were dirty. The plastic Walmart cups had been put away with mold in them. I opened all the windows for clean air. Rewashed all the dishes so I could use and eat in the kitchen. Im celiac so I travel with my own cooking tools which was a good thing because the few cooking dishes they have were certainly not properly cleaned. Ugh.
This place is a JOKE!!! Upon arrival and showing my Expedia Booking and proper Identification, I was told by the young man at the counter that "we do not accept online payments, all payments must be made in person". I again presented my booking #, as well as the digital receipt, and showed him the charge debiting my bank account.
He spouted the same ridiculousness again, and... I gave up. I was not about to pay a 2nd time.
When Expedia tried to investigate this incident, the hotel staff told them that i had never shown up. Refund was denied. Even though I had physical evidence of being there in the form of the "registration form" handed to me by the man at the counter.
I feel i have been wronged y the hotel and Expedia.
I traveled 3.5 hours to see the 250th Anniversary of our Nation's Indepedence, paid an outrageous amount for a cracker jack box room, they attempted to double charge me, and in the end, I drove 3.5 hours back home and missed all of the celebration.
Definitely a 4th of July to FORGET.

I like that the Chevron is right next door and that it's cheap. I also didn't come home with bed bugs, so that's a plus. Nice and old school, I appreciate its existence.
This room was absolutely filthy. Rat droppings in every corner and behind all furniture, blood stained blankets, IV drug use supplies in the nightstand. Staff refused to refund even though we left 15 minutes after we arrived. Expedia refused to refund despite photograph evidence and a receipt from the other model we stayed at last night. Absolutely do not recommend staying at this motel and absolutely encourage you to book via a service that will actually back the customer.
