โFrom the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub.
We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.
We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included.
We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. โ
โIt was relaxing and very quiet. The meals in the inn were amazing especially the scrambled egg in morning. Everyone was friendly and polite. A really amazing place for rest and relaxation. โ
โA great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay.โ
โThis was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there.

โDecent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!โ
