"Amazing stay for our night in apsley !"

"The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the...

"The Bancroft Inn was an okay motel. There is really no amenities to speak of. The first room we had was not great but the staff moved us to a different room. The second room was good. It was fairly clean and updated. The TV and wireless internet worked great. We were on the second floor and it was pretty quiet sitting out on the balcony. Bancroft is a small town and the motel was close to everything. With the right room we would stay there again."

"The location was excellent for my activity - right downtown just a couple of blocks from the bus terminal. Street life in that area is pretty quiet, but lots of places to get a bite to eat. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities are pretty basic, but there is breakfast included and a small gym. I will book there again when I come back for my activity next summer."
