“It is a very safe place, breakfast was great, staff is very friendly, close to the beach, quiet area, good restaurant in the hotel. Wifi worked great but the cell phone coverage was spotty in town. We did not have a car; we used uber. I think this is a fine place for families and couples looking to relax.”

“If you’re looking for a small , private spot to relax on your vacation this is it! The staff was courteous and so helpful. The room was immaculate and morning breakfast was just what we needed - fruit,granola and coffee! There’s surfing right in front of the hotel and we had a short walk on the beach to the pickup spot for fishing. My wife and I loved it! What a truly relaxing week ”

“Great hotel in coco. The room was clean and well stocked. They have a convenience store in the lobby to buy anything you need. On site is a restaurant and bar. The pool is amazing and clean. You can literally stay at the resort and cover all the bases. Parking is just outside the facility and is free. “Hotel El Manglar is maybe my most favorite hotel EVER! The grounds are beautiful!! The staff is so kind and helpful. Dylan and Georgia at the front desk were just incredible! The beach is stunning and the private path to the beach is magical! Our villa was comfortable and very clean. It had a king size bed, large shower, nice little kitchen and sitting area. Both the sitting area and kitchen had French doors that opened to the porch. We enjoyed our Costa Rican coffee and banana bread each...
