“Requested and paid for harbor view room and felt I did not get that but other than that, it was a wonderful stay! That was the only negative, restaurant was fantastic, service was great, and was clean! ”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Hot tub worked but less than half of the jets worked. Room was nice and clean. TV worked great. Plenty of electrical outlets to plug in your charging devices. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was good. ”

I've been to the area many times but not recently. I wanted to give my German cousin and 18 year old daughter a typical small town motel experience. Duluth is very expensive in the summer. We stopped there on our way to Split Rock and Gooseberry Falls. Nice hot water in the shower. TV was a bit tricky to figure out but wasn't there to...
