Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The front desk staff was amazing. The man helped me check into my room 4 hours early and extended my parking by a couple hours so I wouldn't have to pay for anywhere else. Truly a great stay in St. Louis."
"The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The common areas were clean and well maintained, but the real standout was the breakfast and evening Kickback. It made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable, and was definitely one of the highlights of our visit."
"We were two women on a 'girls weekend' and were "upgraded" to a queen suite so one of us slept on the sofabed which was reasonably comfortable - the queen bed was very comfortable. We had an awesome view of Forest Park and a spacious room. The whole place felt luxurious. The fitness center was a bit stuffy but had a LOT of equipment (although some needed maintenance...). The pool was huge and the water temperature just right. We loved the location next to Forest Park and CWE with lots of restaurants nearby. We also loved that the Chase Club had a band on Friday and Saturday nights so we could have a nightcap and dance a bit before heading upstairs. We got a competitive rate (for the area) via Expedia which made it affordable. My only complaint was the cost of parking. $40/night to self-park as a guest of the hotel was outrageously expensive IMO. We were both driving from two different cities so I ended up parking my (older) car in the city lot about 3 blocks away. While we decided against a late night movie, it was fun to have the theater right there as well. It was hot and humid so having so much within a few blocks was helpful. I would definitely stay here again!"
Heritage Inn & Suites St. Louis/Fenton, Trademark by Wyndham
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was eh. Very minimal for hot breakfast. Room was nice. Thermostat didn't go below 66. Ac unit was loud so falling asleep was difficult. Shower was missing the shampoo dispenser. Water pressure wasn't the greatest. Bathroom sink had a broken drain plug. Only given 2 towels for 3 people. Had to ask for more & thankfully, we were given more. Elevator was terribly slow. Ice machine on 4th floor didn't work at all.
Overall, nice stay. Just minor inconveniences."
"We liked everything about this hotel! The artwork all over the hotel is beautiful and then you have the art museum on the entire 2nd floor. We used the pool, gym and steam room daily during our stay. The bar has a nightly bourbon pour after 8pm and a lovely multi level outdoor patio. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times as we always had questions! 5 stars. 10/10."
"Excellent location to stay for a baseball game. The hotel was very nice and clean. Self parking was easy across the street in the parking garage. Would definitely stay here again! "
