"In a past life, career, I stayed at La Quintas all the time, had all my team members stay there, my of my has the quality behind the desk to place itself. After being on the road for almost 7 hours with my daughters ages 4 and 6, all we wanted was a quick check-in, polite staff and a nice bed and breakfast. The check-in was not an enjoyable experience, stated with the room rate being $197, almost $98 more than advertised. The man that checked us in, was not friendly, slow as a turtle with an upset stomach, customer service was the last thing on his mind, etc... I could go on, but we would have been better off at a Motel 6."

"Room was clean and staff were lovely. The decor is very funky and New Mexico. Rooms are a good size, and have a desk, chair, refrigerator, microwave, and TV. AC/Heat worked well in our room. Towels were okay. Our mattress in our room needed an upgrade. The property is supposed to have free breakfast, but the first two days we went, no food was in the breakfast area, so we stopped going and went to a local coffee shop instead. The rooms are very noisy (the doors seem very thin), and ours had gaps around it, when closed. Part of this isn't their fault, as they're right off the highway, and it's a busy road, with a train that runs nearby. Parking is an absolute nightmare, as the lot is small and while they have oversized parking, it wasnt enforced the nights we were there, so we couldn't find a spot (and we drive a smaller crossover). Thankfully, Clayton is small, so we were able to park at the Loves and walk. "

"Who did the paint job in the Men’s room off the lobby? That was horrible. Also in the bathrooms in the rooms, the sink and mirror don’t line up. It’s like the bathroom was configured by two drunks and a wino. For someone with OCD, it must be a living nightmare in the bathroom. "
