“Overall, this was a great property. If you want a brand new hotel, stay at a chain hotel. The elevator was original and could only be operated by an employee. The interior was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are smaller than a chain hotel, but people were smaller in 1927 when the hotel was built. Highly recommend with its history and its great staff. ”
“Oh my goodness we LOVE this unique little hotel, we stayed in the large family style suite. It’s basically a LARGE 2 bathroom apartment. Huge kitchen that you can cook in, all full size appliances. Ridiculously wide bed. The room is directly across from a little pantry shop that sold everything from soda and chips to swim goggles and candles. A few practical microwave meals. And they charge LOW prices, NOT inflated hotel rices for convenience items. Many items were $1 -$3. The lady that checked...
