"The premises were super clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a busy place and wait times could be long - the staff were doing the best they could with huge influxes of people and limited number of tables. The menu should vary more though. "

"Everything was great, except May 4 my birthday. I was coming from a 12 hour tour and the manager and security guy harassed me. The manager kept looking at me even I had my card key in my hand. I went to the room to change cause I was tired but I was hungry. I went back to the room cause I forgot my glasses and the security guy asked me for my key card, but he just asked me when there was other people coming. I felt embarrassed. "Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "
