Top Northern Iceland Hotel Reviews
Hotel Akureyri
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful European style hotel right in the center of walking amenities in town. Very delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms are small, but well appointed and comfortable."
Centrum Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Coffee bar was a little lean on cups."
Sæluhus Hotel Apartments & Houses
10/10 Excellent
"We were given an apartment that was much upgraded than originally booked at the same price. So, we were very happy"
Hotel Halond
10/10 Excellent
"Modern design. Excellent bed."
Hotel Godafoss
8/10 Good
"Clean room, heat barely worked, shower splashed all over the bathroom, we had to dodge the shrubs to get to our room. Walkable distance to Goddafoss-Falls of the Gods. Room was $300+ per night in Aug and breakfast was not included. Breakfast was another $50/couple. This place is not worth the price."
Akureyri - Berjaya Iceland Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"The lady at the reception was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very impressed and thankful."
Fosshotel Myvatn
8/10 Good
"We really liked this hotel - clean, modern, nice! The downfall was the bugs, they swarm you when you step out of the car until you walk in the hotel door. We had a door with a small patio but didn’t use it because of the bugs. Other than that room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great location for exploring but the whole area there has the bug swarms."
Hótel Laxá
10/10 Excellent
"Stunning location. Felt like you were treating yourself, which for the price you were. Classy, modern decor."
Skald Akureyri, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel. Stunning decor. Professional staff. Very expensive but could see the where the extra cost goes to."
