"We had our honeymoon in Galena and celebrated our 10 year anniversary there this weekend. The only complaint we had was the water pressure, taking a shower took forever to wash hair as it was very low pressure. However, everything else was incredible! We loved reading and enjoying a cup of coffee out on the wrap around deck looking over the beautiful 16 acres. We will definitely be back!"

"Bring your own s’more supplies, roasting forks and a broom. The cabin was intimate and overall comfortable. Needed some extra cleaning as there was a large pile of leaves on the entrance into the cabin, so they kept getting tracked in regardless of the no shoes policy. They ran of out s’more supplies and didn’t communicate that nor offer a replacement so just bring your own to be on the safe side. There was literally only 2 small towels and washcloths as well so either request more immediately or bring your own,"

"Breakfast included. Staff helpful. But I have knee ..walking issues...and the website stated that it was .3 miles from historic downtown Galena...I think it was more like a MILE!!!...Thats misleading...but desk clerk did direct us to shuttle options"
