"This hotel was super clean. Had really good amenities. Stayed there for one night due to soccer tournament but really enjoyed the time there. Wish other hotels were like this one."

"The 2 level suite over looking the river is the coolest thing. the whole hotel is a hidden gem. The only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast. Limited options and what they didn't have wasn't very good. all in all it's a nicest hotel in the area in exception to the embassy but a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend"

"Motel is nostalgic. We didn’t get to use the pool but it did look good. It’s a throwback in time which made it fun. The room itself very musty, old cracks in ceiling and mold on walls throughout room And bathroom. The mustiness lingers on our clothing and what we brought with. Bed mattress a bit soft and lumpy for my liking as well as the pillow. I guess it’s due to being so nostalgic. Overall it worked out great for an overnight sleep. They also had a satiation for grab n go breakfast items."

"This place is wonderful. Clean, gorgeous, cozy, easy, and little details topped it off. Unfortunately, nearby neighbors playing loud music who didn’t turn it down or off when asked ruined our quiet nighttime firepit time we had been looking forward to, which was upsetting for the price we paid for this. Also: Once we figured out how the map works, it made sense how to get to our cabin but we spent like 20min when we first arrived just driving around trying to find the cabin. Better communication (like a digital map provided as part of check in process) would be helpful for first timers. I do hope to come back to try again to this incredible place, super close to Matthiesen and Starved Rock State Parks."

"My check-in process went rather smoothly and getting to my room was alright. The bed was more form than I’m used to, so I didn’t sleep as well as I preferred and the bathroom was rather small, so it was hard to maneuver. The property was clean and well maintained, which is a big plus."
