“Omg!!! The Highlands Ranch Resort is a hidden gem!! Gorgeous surroundings, 10 min drive outside Lassen Volcanic NP. The individual cottages with fireplaces, heated tiled bathroom floors, the most comfortable bed and bedding! In the morning light snow was falling - breath taking views! Our dinner and drinks in the main lodge with a roaring fire was 5 star!! This place is a must!! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! “Didn’t know what to expect but wanted to experience the past. Loved the building and was surprised to see how much was kept old. The beds and pillows were perfect for all of us. Loved the sink in the room and the bathroom separate. Some of the old photos hanging on the hall walls, the eyes would follow you as you walked by. If stay there again in a heart beat. ”
