"The room was the bright spot. Spacious, clean, over the top happy with the room. Front desk person needs to work in a basement on a computer away from people. Was not pleasant AT ALL. Almost acted like we were intruding on his time. Bordered on being rude. The breakfast was crap. Eggs were like a hockey puck and cold. Sausage was cold. Biscuits and gravy were hot and good. No effort made to put a good breakfast together. Cheap and no pride in this area of service. Plan to eat breakfast out not this crap. The area seemed very convenient and safe. Obviously they use a water softener because the water had a film when rinsing off. This is ok BUT it made the bottom of the shower super slick. No mats down so I’ll predict a lawsuit from someone slipping and falling in the shower if this is not addressed. It’s a damn shame, it really is. They give you a room to die for, outstanding in every way but they fail in just about every other area. The breakfast is the last thing on top of the mind and what a shame. If breakfast and staff is not important to you then this would be a great place for you to choose. I know we WILL stay here again in a heartbeat BUT will lower our expectations on breakfast and eat out. And we will make sure to not be offended by the front desk person who was terrible."
