"Staff service was hit or miss. When I booked, Expedia notes sheet change, fresh towel, and house keeping is upon request. So when I arrived, I asked. Front desk person would not give me straight answer. She said ask the cleaning person (what???). I asked what if I don't catch the person. She said ask front desk. My husband asked for change of room because he didn't like the view from the room. She said rooms will be available tomorrow. I asked the next day. A different front desk person said absolutely not, etc. I understand you get what you paid for and didn't put up an argrument. She didn't have to be confrontational about it. I asked about house keeping. She said absolutely not; rooms get cleaned only upon check out. A note on the desk in my room stated house keeping is performed for stay of 2 nights or more. I was staying 3 nights. Again, I am on vacation and don't want to get confrontational with this person. So I asked for clean towels and she provided. The next morning, armed with the note, I asked the front desk for house keeping without showing the note. A differnt person this time, she asked what I needed done. I told her, she took notes and said OK. I am a quiet person and spoke softly, she couldn't hear some of my words but apologized for not being able to hear me. I appreciate it."
