Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

"Our room was large and well laid out but dated. The fridge was dirty with a previous guests ketchup and the bathroom floor and bath were both dirty. The corridor to our room was covered in muck. On arrival the dirty laundry from the rooms that had been cleared was piled up on the floor outside the rooms. Restaurant choice is poor. Great if you like fast food style dinners. The bar is advertised as serving appetizers. We went for a drink after dinner (nice bar) to find they had a small full menu and the food looked great. Breakfast was a fiasco. Queue to get food, then stand in a queue to pay whilst your food gets cold. The coffee machines in the dining room were both broken so you had to go to the coffee shop - another queue with one person serving, and food still getting cold. As you would expect for such a captive audience prices are high. To stay into the park there is little choice but I would prefer not to come back here."

"We stayed at the property a couple days while touring Grand Tetons. Our room was in one of the 2 story buildings and was clean and comfortable. The room was very much decorated in the old lodge look. Our only "complaint" was that the AC unit was very touchy and didn't always work as it should. The resort itself was nice and we enjoyed the courtyard, fire pits and Smores.."

"The room and property was nice. We enjoyed the public spaces. However the restaurant was not that great- food was ok, service was slow, we didn’t even get water with our dinner - we were the only diners at that time!"
