"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "Loved this place. Huge area with lots of friendly staff. We stayed in a Casita which was cool clean and large enough for a family of 4 but we were a couple. The gym and shared kitchen is so useful in nosara as it's expensive to eat out"
