“Fantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitality….. Easy walk into the village too, where there’s shops and a couple of very good pubs too. We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longer…. Hell Yeah!”

“The most important thing for me is how clean the place is and the breakfast. Both ticked the boxes for me. Louanne not only cooks a superb breakfast but she is a lovely person. Fantastic value for money.”

“We stayed after attending a wedding at this hotel. the room was very clean, lovely shower room and comfortable bed. A big tick from me was a mirror on the desk/ dressing table, so I could plug in my hair styling tools and do my hair sitting at the desk with access to a mirror. Breakfast was very good, if a bit expensive.”
