"Overall, our stay was very good. The buffet breakfast was well appointed, and the view from the dining room was very calming, looking out over the water. The room was large, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and roomy (king size). Water craft were available, but it was cool so we didn't partake. The only downside was at dinner. Some of the menu options were unavailable, but we were not told until after we ordered. In addition, we eat supper between 5 and 5:30; some menu options were not yet cooked yet, or were still in the process of being prepared. This caused us to wait an hour for our evening meal one night."

"The young man at reception was very polite and helpful. Check-in process was seamless. Rooms are very simple, a bit dated, but clean. Bed was comfortable. No cable tv, just Roku, which is a streaming service. Breakfast was toast, cereal, muffins and fruit - simple but enough to start the day. The hotel was perfect for what I needed (a one stay in Parry Sound), and inexpensive compared to the big chain hotels in town."

"Love the calm ambiance of the property The staff were helpful as the elevator was out of order so as seniors, we needed help managing the stairs with luggage. I was disappointed in the fact that the spa for pedicures was unavailable on the Mondays We try and stay in late spring and early fall but also have enjoyed our stays in the winter A great getaway"

"Expensive yes, .. but you get what you pay for. EXCELLENT service, the best we’ve ever had (& we travel the world over). Super friendly, helpful. Food was very good, and the grounds were very clean. The room was spacious, and even has a gas fireplace. Definitely we will be back."

"Showing it's Muskoka age the resort is a great place to unwind. our room was clean and updated,however it's path to the entrance was showing its age in algae, overgrowth and a somewhat unappealing entrance. The lodge hasn't changed since our last visit and the meal was delicious with a great server. Overall with a little tender care it could be restored to its original charm"
