I liked that it was safe and well-lit. The breakfast was filling. The room was clean. But the website for Best Western Oakdale, LA showed in their choice of rooms that there was a jacuzzi tub in there, which at that location, they don't have any rooms with that. They showed a swimming pool and nice area to sit, and the gate had a big padlock on it. the pictures that are on the website show there is an indoor jacuzzi, which was not there. The toilet seat was very loose. The agent at the desk at the hotel revealed to me information that is also is not on the website. The main reason I chose to stay there, was for the pool and the large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, which neither were available. I was charged extra for a suite with a jacuzzi tub. It ruined a romantic getaway with my husband. Unless things are drastically changed, I do not recommend this location.

Man, when I tell you I LOVE this hotel, I absolutely LOVE this hotel! ❤️ If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with friendly staff who go above and beyond and truly treat you like family, THIS is the hotel for you! I’ve stayed here several times, but this has honestly been the BEST hotel experience I’ve ever had—from the food, to the staff, to the housekeeping. They are absolutely amazing! If I could give them 100 stars, I would give them 100 stars 10 times over! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough good things about this place. They have truly made every stay feel special! ❤️

Ladies at the front desk were great, easy to get to, plenty of parking, facility was clean, the beds were firmer then i liked, but that is personal preference. Breakfast was good. We had an issue with the Tv, but the lady at the front desk promptly came to check on it and fix it. We were disappointed when we found out the pool wouldnt be open till next month, but we still had a pleasant stay. I would say they should update the wash clothes because they were stained and also offer more towels in the room.

The room was clean. It was quiet. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we stayed out very late so we didn’t get up early enough for breakfast, but we plan on going back sometime and will definitely try the breakfast.
