“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. “I stayed with my husband and dog as we were visiting our daughter who lives in the area so we didn't have breakfast or drinks. Hotel was very clean and very eco friendly. The parking was incredibly full when we returned after a dinner in town but we did find the last spot and they sign posted for the overflow car park - luckily didn't need it. ”
