It’s very safe, clean, staff is very helpful, I really liked the happy hour at the roof top.
Love waking up in the mornings and just go up the roof top and breakfast was ready.
Very comfortable, quiet, large room; Good A/C; Amazing rooftop view; friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast; Overall a nice place to stay a bit away from the noisier streets.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful showing us options for getting around town whether it was through a tour or taking a city bus.
Although the rooms were a little smaller than expected overall I had an amazing experience. Staff was very friendly and the rooftop was very nice. Walking distance from everything.

Nice small hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Slightly far from the center, which means it was quiet, but a short walk to everything.
We stayed at this property for a few days for a wedding. It is located close to downtown Oaxaca. The room was spacious and lovely decorated.
Breakfast on the roof top was a great experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Cons: There are quite a few stairs to be considered when having mobility issues. In Oaxaca toilet paper can’t be flushed through toilets.
It was a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved the staff and the hotel. It’s very close to downtown and all the sights you could imagine.
Only negative is our room was next to the workers area on the ground floor and very noisy.
We upgraded to a loft room and so much quieter and more room.
Will book again at the Casa in the fall for a month in a suite.
Staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and came with a gorgeous view of the city, and my room was perfect for my stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Dia de Los Muertos, truly exceptional. I would definitely stay at Casa Mayahuel again!
Lovely boutique hotel! Staff is super friendly and helpful!
Very clean and inviting! Love the bed, and love the rooftop space for breakfast and Happy Hour!
The mayor issue for us was almost never had hot water for showers. It made our stay much less enjoyable.
It would be nice to have a bath mat. Hotel would do well to invest in larger or more hot water heaters.
Breakfast was nice and Jose was an amazing breakfast cook and was very kind. All the employees were very friendly and nice which we appreciated.
