"So, to be upfront: the property is dated. There are no two ways around that. Carpet everywhere, somewhat worn furnishings... if you are looking for the most up-to-date place to stay, look elsewhere.
On the other hand: the staff was terrific. From check-in to everything else, they were very helpful.
The room itself is nice, too. The kitchen works. The fridge and freezer do their job. The internet works, and the TV works... and our balcony view of the ocean was great.
The location, too, is excellent: out the middle door in the back and in 10 minutes you can be set up on the uncrowded beach, catching rays and swimming in the waves.
The unique amenity of the parrots, fish, and reptiles in the atrium is charming. My 18-year-old son, in particular, was fascinated and delighted by these beautiful birds... some of which, yes, can "talk". Really neat.
You are near excellent restaurants and activities; we walked to an excellent meal outdoors at the Bad Monkey. The Fractured Prune is on the way, if you want donuts. There are indoor games to play at Alley-oops, and minigolf nearby, too.
A GREAT place to stay for the price. Will do it again!"
