Thank you for taking the time to write a feedback for us. We do disclose in our property listing that there is a staircase in the cottage and the bed is located up in the loft area. I am sorry you found that inconvenient. I wish you called us and we could have looked into some other available options for you at our units with no stairs since we do have multiple properties in town. There could be a difference in the temperature as the downstairs heater may be blocked by the bathroom door. We always request our guests to reach out to us if they have slightest of inconvenience so that we can fix issues like these right away. We hope to host you again another time and ensure that you get a ground level unit with no stairs next time.

We are sorry you struggled with heater temperature through the night. We do have a sticker above the thermostats explaining how to use them to make your stay the most comfortable. The thermostat in the bathroom controls the temp downstairs and the one in the kitchen controls the heater for upstairs. Turning down the thermostat in the kitchen, will successfully keep the temp upstairs much cooler. Thank you for the heads up with the dark stairway to the bedroom, we will look into getting better lighting installed. We appreciate your feedback and hope to get the chance to host you again, maybe you would enjoy one of our 4 other properties in Ocean Shores. We hope to see you again!

We take great pride in providing memory foam mattresses across all our units, and they have been thoughtfully selected after thorough testing and use. The majority of our guests have expressed their satisfaction with these mattresses and have commended us on their comfort. Given this positive feedback, we have not considered any changes thus far. Nonetheless, we would like to emphasize that we greatly value your comfort, and we encourage our guests to promptly notify us of any concerns they may have. We have mattress toppers that can be added to tailor the mattress to your personal preferences which will enhance your overall sleep experience. Regarding the hammering noise that disrupted your stay, we would like to express our sincerest apologies. We never carry out any maintenance unless urgent while our guests are staying, and upon investigation, there was no scheduled maintenance on the dates of your stay. We are wondering where the noise came from. However, we will look into this and find the root cause. We genuinely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We hope to have the privilege of hosting you again in the future, ensuring that your next visit is nothing short of exceptional.

Thank you for taking the time to write a feedback for us. We have disclosed in our advert about the staircase in the cottage and I am sorry to hear that it was inconvenient for you and your wife. The staircase has not usually been a problem for our elderly guests. However, we wish that you had reached out to our customer service team which works tirelessly anytime of the day and would have been happy to relocate you to one of our other units as we have multiple properties in town. The sofa bed on the ground level is a full sized bed once it's pulled out. We have mentioned the instructions on how to pull out the sofa bed behind it on the window and we always stock linens for the sofa bed in the dresser below the TV. We hope to get another opportunity to host you sometime at one of our other units which would be more comfortable for you.
