This is the filming site for Shawshank Redemption. The Corvette motor tour was a but of a juxtaposition but fun to see. The prison tour is worth the $9 admission.

This is where the shawshank redemption was taped. A must see destination. Groupon sells tickets for 2 $11. During regular season.
This was amazing! And not just because Shawshank redemption was shot there either (though that was cool). You can't tour this facility and not become physically and emotionally affected. You get the full effect - go in cells, walk steps, see the library/hospital, solitary, showers, wardens home (his whole family lived there) and see artifacts. Overwhelming. You leave humbled and thankful for your freedom.

Went to Inkcarceration Festival and it included a tour of the prison. Be prepared to walk a lot.

My son & I went to the Ghost Hunt at OSR. The Inn was only about 5 minutes away, and very easy to find. Which is important, when you're leaving the prison at 3:00 AM. Great hamburgers at the bar & grill in front of the Inn.
