Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw. So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well.”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

A sign or signs would help, I was left hanging around the bar to ask about c/in the bar staff then pointed me to someone who was busy taking a long food order, they then eventually directed me to someone else who then said they were busy and I would need to wait for them... I found this irritating and poor customer service... I understand that they were busy but so was I... On leaving I had to...

“Our stay at the Cridford Inn was absolutely fantastic. From the room, the staff, the restaurant (we tried the medieval recipes and they were great), the bar and the fabulous breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The area offers a vast number of walks on the beautiful Moor. ”
