โIn a great location, great hosts, fantastic Sunday Session, great free BBQ, reasonable drink prices. They are very nice people and work damn hard to keep all the guests happy.โ
โYou get what you pay for. I did not expect the resort to be in such disrepair and to be so noisy. The traffic from the highway is constant and you hear every plane take off. The on site secure parking is very tight and it is difficult to manoeuvre a big vehicle around. Next time I will do more research and pay more money for a more comfortable and quiet location.โ
โThe property was close to fast food outlets. Bridge road has eateries down the opposite side of the motel. Hostess was friendly and supportive. The room was quiet and there was no noise from the road.โ
โWe stayed here with our work crew and booked 5 rooms. The motel is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are great and take pride in the motel, which really shows. All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. โ
