Loud...

Could hear people stomping around in the room above us till 03:00am. Beds were not comfortable. Paid $200 for a single night for an average hotel.

We had an awesome time, wish we could have stayed longer. We're thinking of going back again for Christmas and staying longer. Hotels.com come came through for us when we couldn't find a hotel. Great customer service. I will definitely use them again!

Great for the on-line price. Their indoor pool/waterpark is not operational as the roof collapsed in April and is now under construction.

Thumper pond

The hotel and setting was absolutely breathtaking and the service was top notch. The hotel was very accommodating and the service was second to none! Loved every minute of my stay.

Dont go here to sleep

This may be the best "hotel" in the area but its clear that they are still being managed by amateurs. We have stayed here three times and this last was the worst. They have a sign at the front desk that says "quiet hours are from midnight to 7 am". I can see why. If you are over the party room, you will certainly hear it. The floors are not cement so every step above carries down below. Thump thump thump. The doors are set up to close automatically and HARD! You hear every one of those slams all night. The beds are HARD. Well then we were joined by ants in the room on the second floor even. I mentioned these things when checking out. I got "sorry about that". I would rather spend my money at a fishing cabin and at least be by the lake.

Great family fun.

The rooms are nice and big. Much bigger then most hotels. The water park nice and clean. The water in the pool was just the temp. We plan to go back and stay soon.

Thumper Pond review.

Nice big room (Had the king bed with jacuzzi in room). Very quiet. Disappointed the water park was only open from 4-9 PM so was unable to use it.

dirty room

Chair in room by desk was full of dirt and I don't know what the other stuff was. I went to take a shower and pulled back the curtain and it looked like dried urine on the tub !!

Needs just a little management assistance?

Hotel seemed to not be prepared. They were out of a lot of things. Newspapers, quarters, and didn't have answers to anything, Just kept saying that "We're sorry". Didn't look as if it was the staff's fault, more of a management issue? Hours of water park are not long enough, therefore, there's nothing to keep kids occupied.

The best value near Ottertail lake

The term "resort" may be a stretch, but it is the best accomodations close to this area. Very good for golfers and little ones that like pool playing.

hidden resort

Stayed to be near Ottertail Lake and was impressed with the value. Great indoor waterpark for the kids. Room was the perfect size. Clean and modern. Only complaint was the fire alarms went off at 7 am and woke the entire family (baby included) no explanation or apology. I would recommend and would stay again when we are in the area.
