The room is newly remodeled. It’s a great choice to stay for Mount Rainier national park. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. My only complaint is that although the hardwood floors are beautiful they don’t absorb noise. Because of this you can hear everyone walking down the halls and sound carries quite a bit. Carpet is a better choice for noise but I understand the durable choice. Just be aware you want to bring ear plugs.

No hot breakfast included. The staff was asked about the discrepancy between Expedia’s listing and their own which led to a patronizing conversation. Once shown the Expedia listing is was mostly soft backtracking which led to an extended and unnecessary conversation as the writer did not truly care about lack of breakfast however did care about the initial rudeness and lies received when asked about listed amenity.

The room was very clean. Fridge larger than we expected. Ice available and free popcorn at the front desk (self serve). Quiet area of town, easy to get to restaurants and grocery store. Friendly staff, clean room, nice to have air conditioning on when we went in, nice tea & coffee bar & popcorn! Only issue was that the toliet ran, but I just had to adjust the flap in the tank so the water would fill it up. Packwood is a cute, friendly town.
