“The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. “The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!”

They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”
