“This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. ”

“Very nice rural property - no piped music, good service, simple but well executed food (notable ricotta with lemon zest and olive oil, almond semi-freddo) as well as the usual Planeta wines. Only downside was the very poor condition of roads leading to / from property - very uncomfortable and potential for damage to your hire car unless you crawl along and around the many potholes.”

“A small hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Sciacca. The hotel was pristine and maintained to an exceptionally high standard by the justly proud proprietor. We were made very welcome by all the staff and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. The air-conditioning was quiet but very effective. There was also access to a spacious rooftop terrace. Breakfast each day was superb with an excellent selection of fresh bakery pastries, cold ...
