"I had a great experience at AKA, and I especially want to recognize Brad, the manager, for his outstanding customer service. From the moment I arrived, he took the time to explain the hotel’s unique concept and made sure I understood all of the amenities and services available. He was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my room, answered all of my questions, and made the entire check-in process smooth and welcoming. Brad’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help really stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed for a great stay. It’s clear he takes pride in creating an excellent guest experience. I highly recommend AKA, and Brad is a big reason why I’ll be happy to stay here again!"

"Beautiful historic property on the beach, resort setting but stuffy. Beautiful resort we had a nice trip, but it’s not a typical resort, too much dress codes, not allowing to go boxes from restaurants, stuffy business conferences and people wearing full suits in hot weather. Not a relaxed resort atmosphere. Was denied access to a restaurant due to a slight sheer quality of my dress. People were not the friendliest. Snobby and stuffy, but the building itself is gorgeous, pools and circle buffet were yum. Just expensive to be told no constantly for silly things that are inconvenient to guests. Also hotel room was nice but small for the price. For a resort -No entertainment available-did not have live music or a lounge type club so low on the entertainment no shows or anything like that. Beautiful reminds me of France or Italy if you like historic. Courtyard and atrium were my favorite. Guests can feel a bit like being at a country club they aren’t invited to."
