"Our family of three arrived at the hotel at dusk. We were confused and unpleasantly surprised that our car couldn't get to the hotel entrance. My son and I walked up and asked the front desk and were told that we could either pay some $25 plus tax to park at the hotel indoor parking, or drive down the road to a free public parking lot. What if someone was travelling solo?They would have to leave their car on the roadside, which has a No Parking sign, and walk inside to ask. It would be helpful if the website mentioned it beforehand. Otherwise the apartment size hotel room was very nice and spacious, with a kitchenette."

"It was cold and rainy in Montreal and our small hotel room had no view, so we gave up our second night, drove to this hotel, where we had a lakeview, a fireplace, a separate bedroom and easy 5 minute drive to the pedestrian village. Still cold and rainy but a much better way to spend such a day. The food in the lodge restaurant is pretty good, too."
