I'm very satisfied with my stay at Hรดtel Du Pont Vieux. The staff were all kind and everything is almost perfect. The only disadvantage is about a lift but this is already mentioned by the hotel owner, so I was okay with it.โ
โGood hotel. Just what you expect from a Mercure. Comfortable but not special. Kind staff. The lady at the reception was not smiling very much. Nevertheless, she gave us all the information we needed about the city, so no offence. โ
โA really lovely place to stay - in the shadow of the castle itself which was a 10 minute walk away.
It was more an apartment than a hotel room, with fridge/freezer, sink, living area and two separate bedrooms.
Be aware that it was initially difficult to find because the rooms are within a retirement home and the facilities within our room clearly supported assisted living.

โBreakfast was prepared to order with eggs, bacon, breads/croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, etc. Relaxed setting on the terrace.
Only 7 rooms. Felt very well taken care of. Extremely attentive staff. High quality in every sense. โ
โIris and BJ were wonderful hosts. In advance of our visit we communicated about our diet (vegan family) and they were able to provide us a nice breakfast every morning. We visited the area during warm weather and the swimming pool ended up being a refreshing part of our stay during the late afternoon hours.โ
