"We asked for blankets for a day nd a half I went down to get them they said they bring them up never did it took till the following day for us to get them ! Then we ordered food from the restaurant by the pool they took a hr to bring me a burnt chicken sandwich then completely forgot about my girlfriends order so then we had to wait another 40 mins for hers to come out so she had to eat her food in the uber ! Anything metal in the room had rust on it downstairs in the lobby looked good but once you got to the room you notice a lot of rust everywhere and the shower wasn’t really clean either and the toilet randomly got clogged honestly great location and great looking lobby and pool area but just want too fond on this hotel"

"Worth it! Beautiful hotel. I was concerned about the price; however, the staff, location, and amenities make it feel worth it. Everyone was respectful and welcoming. If you’re used to an all-inclusive this hotel is not that experience. It’s also not a 5 star hotel but a good entry point into that experience. Everything is expensive but you’re paying for the location and experience. My biggest complaint: my bathtub was not clean and I think the initial daily deposit is too high. Outdoor pool and hot tub made me forget that I overpaid to stay here."

"often choose local hotels to support local businesses, they’re also more personal & part of travel experiences. I’m not one to write bad reviews but for this trip & as a licensed Travel Agent, I have to be honest to help other future guests. Casa Placita is located in a busy location which means loud music at night. But they took that into account & provided free earplugs in the bedroom. On the other hand it’s a nice location if u want to check out the many bars & restos within the area. I arrived before noon & had been in transit all night so I was hoping to leave my luggage at front desk. I rented a car & they were nice about sending me a map by email to plan on where to park. Took me 3x to drive around due to one way streets. Found one for $5/day about 5-10 min walk from hotel. I arrived at location based on my GPS but couldn’t figure out how to get in the building. I buzzed & someone let me in but no front desk. I walked to the bars & a couple of them were named the same as hotel so I got confused. I called the hotel & no answer. I was getting frustrated then someone answered & said to call back. I did & no one answered. Few minutes later someone came out of the gate, turns out the sign to front desk was on the side of the gate not directly visible. Staff at desk didn’t speak much English so that was the first problem. Then Alberto arrived who spoke good English & he was able to help me. 130p he checked me in earlier than 4 which I was very thankful."

"This was a great place but unfortunately, a bright neon flashing light on the building outside the window showed through the curtains and was kept on all night. They also told a worker that our room was empty and we had someone walk into our room while we were getting changed. They were apologetic and we know it was an accident but it could have been prevented. The pool was great but the playground structure in the pool had mold and algae on it, which made me nervous that the pool wasn't being maintained and cleaned properly. Breakfast was great, room was comfortable, but they really need to address the bright unnecessary light that shines into the room at all hours."
