“Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. ”
“We stayed for one night & chose the larger room when we booked so had plenty of space. Loved the decor & ordered the waterfall prints that were in the room when we got home to remind us of the waterfalls. Room did get hot (very warm weather when we stayed) but there was a fan & we probably hadn't got the velux windows open as far as they could go. Booked a table when we booked in & had a very enjoyable evening meal.”
“This hotel is ok but pretty basic overall. Although clean, the room felt very tired. Staff aren’t really on hand late at night or in the morning. It was good value. ”

“Bed was squeaky, no water pressure for the shower. Had to hold in hand to wash properly. Bathroom requires upgrade. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Surroundings lovely. ”
“The rooms at the Howfield were exactly as described in the photos. very comfortable bed, good hot shower with good flow and very clean. the housekeeping staff were polite, cheerful and helpful.

“Very spacious, clean room and bathroom with a comfortable bed. This was a great space to sleep before setting out each day to explore the area. Amazing view from the room. The breakfast was lovely. The owners, Bob and Olha were extremely kind and friendly. The property has a beautiful garden and one afternoon when we decided to explore it, we caught Bob and Olha working on their new pool project.
