โBased on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. โ
โFantastic hotel and the room was amazing. Francis couldnโt have been more helpful. We had Sunday lunch there which is a must when in the area and fish n chips on the night were amazing 10/10 brilliant โ
โFabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. โ
โThis hotel was really easy to get to and only a 15 minute walk to the train station that can take you straight into Cardiff. All the staff were welcoming and lovely and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. โ

โAir con was the main reason for booking, and I can confirm it's proper wall mounted air con which works great. Bed was comfy. We received an upgrade to a luxury double which was a lovely room. Blackout curtains, and the room was quiet despite taxis being outside.
We ate out locally as they do not provide food. We had Wetherspoons and the Tesco cafe for breakfast, and tried Burger Boyz for dinner one evening, excellent burgers!

โPart of the Wyndham chain, this hotel is situated just off a roundabout on some main roads with a good sized car park nice and close to the entrance which was fortunate due to the monsoon weather. I was greeted warmly on check-in . The room was smart and clean although the window was quite an old wooden frame. The hotel had a decently equipped gym which I made full use of. โEverything about our stay was positive. Everything about the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional in the evening and at breakfast. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, fresh and comfortable. It was a perfectly relaxing night away. โ
