“The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.”
“I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. Full use of facilities ! Pool and spa areas were so clean. Room was perfect. Although need bigger coffee cups 😄 and couldn't find drinking water or bottle water to buy.
Was a lot of confusion due to booking club room with Expedia check in they say have free breakfast and then get to breakfast in morning ...... £25 for two because you didn't book directly through village was a bit annoying because we'd already eaten it.

“The hotel was in a brilliant location and very reasonably priced. Uniquely decorated and full of history, but also practical. The stand out feature however was how helpful, friendly and professional the staff were, from the receptionists, the manager in charge of the restaurant, and the cleaning staff.
