โCannot fault 'The Coed-y-Mwstwr' every 8nch of this hotel is immaculate, well organised, well run, friendly, homely, staffed to good level woth happy attentive friendly staff. What a great place, we will definately be back again and hopefully soon and for longer. Thankyou everyone.โ
โBased on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. โ
โThe hotelโs staff is kind, and the food is excellent! However, the only inconvenience was that after 11 p.m., we had to use the outdoor stairs because the main door was no longer accessible.โ
โEasy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. โ
โWonderful staff. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom needed renovation but was spotless. Delicious breakfasts, great choice on offer and all freshly cooked. Dinner was equally good and again wonderful service. Would stay again ๐โ
โThus is a second visit. Staff are fantastic. We had lovely breakfasts with goodcquality bacon and sausage. There is a large carpark which is a huge asset as parking in Mumbles is always tricky. It is a charming hotel and I hope they never change it.โ
โAir con was the main reason for booking, and I can confirm it's proper wall mounted air con which works great. Bed was comfy. We received an upgrade to a luxury double which was a lovely room. Blackout curtains, and the room was quiet despite taxis being outside.
We ate out locally as they do not provide food. We had Wetherspoons and the Tesco cafe for breakfast, and tried Burger Boyz for dinner one evening, excellent burgers!
Hotel is central to everything and made a nice change from a Premier...
