"I am so happy I found this place and lucky that they had a room for us. Situated a stone's throw from form the Castillo di Vezio (which is the best 5 Euros you will spend) this place was an authentic Italian village charm. The owner was kind enough to arrange a ride for us since it was pouring rain and the hike up the hill via the cobble stone road was not something you will (or can do) with luggage. "What a beautiful hotel! We loved how modern it was and the views from our rooms and garden. The staff were lovely and helpful, Breakfast was amazing - mostly self serve with lots of choices (bread, cheeses, meat, fruit, yogurt, cereal etc), and Elisa also brought us all kinds of other goodies like fresh melon, pineapple, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, plus fresh-squeezed OJ and coffee to order. It was truly awesome! The grounds were spacious with lots of places to sit. We walked into Lecco to get the ferry to Bellagio one day (easy 20-25-minute walk) and the train to Varenna another day. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return someday. This hotel is a hidden gem!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a nice bathroom, a big balcony facing the lake and the mountains. The view was peaceful, the lake was serene, and the common areas were tidy and pretty. Lecco was much less congested than Como, but if you wanted to go to Como, it was only a 35 minute drive with amazing views. I recommend this hotel. "
