"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

Posto dove poter trascorrere una piacevole vacanza nel relax ritrovando quiete e temperature freschissime . Di fronte alla struttura c'è l'hotel sempre gestito dagli stessi proprietari dove potersi appoggiare sia per la colazione che per il pranzo e la cena ma accanto ci sono altri 2 ristoranti con bar e tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. "Fine hotel, if it was renovated. It has good bones, but needs investment to make things fresh again. Employees were excellent, restaurant is good and an excellent pool just 10 km away from the center of Lucca. The area around the hotel is agricultural, in a boring way. Don’t expect the tipical Tuscan vistas here! "

"Fantastic atmosphere and quality at dinner. A little more standard at breakfast. Poor English skills from the receptionist. She didn’t really understand that we had a problem in our room.(Our neighbor keep smoking in his bathroom, so our bathroom was also stinking of cigarettes) The pool area is very clean and nice to visit, but the traffic around is a little noisy."
