"I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay from June 7th to June 10th, 2026. While we visited Gatlinburg to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday, the experience was significantly marred by a lack of basic services and poor communication from your staff. I booked this stay with the understanding that the property was undergoing refurbishments. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the internet and Wi-Fi were completely non-functional, and the TV in our room was unusable. When I sought assistance on June 8th, I was asked to spend 30 minutes on the phone with IT myself, only to be told the issue required a simple system reset by your maintenance team. Despite this, no action was taken. When I requested a room change that evening, I was told it was not possible. Furthermore, the staff claimed the entire building's Wi-Fi was down, yet I was able to connect to the lobby Wi-Fi without issue. This lack of transparency, combined with being told to check back every hour for updates, was unacceptable. Due to the lack of resolution, we ultimately handed in our keys and checked out early at 8:00 PM that night. In addition to the technical failures, the room was outdated and poorly maintained; we found dead insects near the microwave and in the bathroom, and the bathroom vent fan was non-functional. While your staff remained polite, their refusal to provide a solution or a room change was deeply frustrating. Given that we had to cut our trip short."
